Marie Osmond Doll Cinderella Toy Fair Exclusive

We here at Beacons Glow Collectibles were fortunate in obtaining one of the very fewMarie Osmond Dolls Cinderella. She is now on the site and available to order.

This beautiful rendition of Cinderella is one of a limited editions of only 75 collectible dolls and was a Toy Fair Exclusive for this year. For those of you that have not heard of Toy Fair, this is the largest toy trade show in the Western Hemisphere held every year in New York City in late January. More than 1,500 manufacturers, distributors, importers and sales agents from over 30 countries showcase their toy and entertainment products.

Anyway, Cinderella is an adorable blond-haired doll with blue eyes and comes from Marie Osmond's 'Once Upon A Dress' collection. She was sculpted by Karen Scott for Marie Osmond Dolls and is hallmarked on the back of her neck with Marie Osmond's signature, as well as being hand-numbered. Cinderella comes dressed in a pretty light blue satin dress with a reversal apron that depicts the story of Cinderella.

As previously mentioned, we have only received one of these from Charisma Brands, the distributors for all of Marie Osmond Dolls. Please keep in mind that we do offer flexible layaway plans to assist in making a doll or teddy bear more affordable.

Marie Osmond Doll Adora Paper Roses Belle

We are excited to announce that we have received in stock Marie Osmond's exclusive "Adora Paper Roses Belle" and she is ready to order.

This beautiful 12-inch porcelain doll is sculpted by Marie Osmond for Marie Osmond Dolls. She has been created as a special keepsake for the Donny and Marie Show currently being held in Las Vegas at the Flamingo Hotel.

Adora Paper Roses Belle comes dressed in a costume that was inspired by the dress worn by Marie Osmond during the Donny and Marie Show when she performs her classic and timeless hit, 'Paper Roses'. Her dress is a floor-length black dress adorned with red embroidered roses and tiny rhinestones. The bodice of her dress is black crocheted lace.

This adorable porcelain collectible doll comes from a very limited edition of only 150 dolls. An excellent addition to any doll collection.

New Little Women Madame Alexander Dolls

Just recently we have received into stock the brand new for 2009 Little Women Madame Alexander dolls - the March Sisters: Amy, Beth, Jo, and Meg.

Since our opening back in 2003, we have seen two series of Little Women dolls and this will be the third in the Little Women series.

Louisa May Alcott, author of Little Women was written and set in the Alcott family home based in Concord, Massachusetts. This incredibly famous novel was published back in 1868 and is still popular reading even to this day.

This novel was Louisa's semi-biographical account of her childhood with her sisters, Meg, Beth, and Amy. Jo, the heroine of Little Women, was based on herself.

Madame Alexander (aka Beatrice Alexander) loved reading Louisa May Alcott's American classic, Little Women, and in 1930 created her first version of the four March sisters. These collectible dolls are always favorites with doll collectors.

Boyds Bears Thinkin of Ya Series Expansion

We are pleased to announce that we have recently received in the 2009 Thinkin of Ya series teddy bears and they are available to order.

These new additions include Birdie Brightday, Blossom B. Goodfriend, Future B. Bright, Lil Cupcake, Mama Angelbeary, and Sharon Wisdom.

All bears from this collection are usually 8 inches tall and each has a special message to portray. Be it a happy birthday greeting, special bear for a special teacher, a bear offering friendship, or graduation congratulations to name just a few.

Each bear is reasonably priced at $9.95 and as is always the case with any plush that is ordered from Beacon's Glow Collectibles, every bear or plush will be wrapped in coordinated tissue paper with ribbon.

Madame Alexander Dolls 85th Anniversary Cissy Dolls

We here at Beacons Glow Collectibles were thrilled to get the opportunity to purchase 3 special edition Cissy Dolls from Madame Alexander celebrating their 85th Anniversary.

Last year Madame Alexander Dolls celebrated their 85th Anniversary. As aptly put by the Alexander Doll Company: "Since its beginning in 1923 the Alexander Doll Company has strived to create beautifully crafted dolls to delight children or all ages. Through the years, we have continued to honor Madame's original vision while incorporating contemporary characters and modern materials into our works, and our 85th Anniversary limited edition creations, reflect the ultimate in design and beauty."

The three 85th Anniversary Cissy dolls that we were fortunate to get in stock are:

1. 85th Anniversary Cissy (#48295) - Cissy's platinum blonde bob, dramatic make-up and blue eyes are show stoppers for this 85th Anniversary Cissy doll. This incredible collectible doll won the 2008 DOTY (Doll of the Year) Collectible Fashion Doll category.

2. Timeless Beauty Rose Cissy (#48305) - Blonde-haired Timeless Beauty Rose makes her entrance in a luminous, tea rose pink satin dress. The intricate beading on her dress is exquisite and obviously done by master seamstresses.

3. Timeless Beauty Violet Cissy (#448300) wears an absolutely glamorous skirted ball gown that has a strapless heart shaped bodice with a tuxedo collar. She bears an uncanny, striking resemblance to Elizabeth Taylor during the 1950's.

Both Timeless Beauty Cissy dolls were designed by both Timothy Alberts and Dale Richards, who used the 1950's as their backdrop. Timothy Alberts has been popular with Madame Alexander doll collectors since he joined the company in 2000, and his designs have been an instant success with collectors. Dale Richards has been the head of the Saturday Night Live Costume Department for over a decade. When not working for SNL, he creates bridal gowns. The Timeless Beauties is his first foray into doll design.

All of these incredible Cissy dolls come from an extremely limited edition of only 85 pieces.

After a bit of a lengthy wait, we are happy to report that we have received and now have in stock Boyds Bears FOB (Friends of Boyds) Kits.

This year's FOB theme centers around quilting, and Boyds Bears says it so well: "The way we see it, quiltin’ is a lot like friendship. It takes a whole lotta love, time and patience to be good at both. And like a quilt is stitched with love, so too are the friendships we form and the memories we make."

If you order a Boyds FOB on our website, please be assured that we will ship you your FOB Kit immediately, as well as completing the FOB application and mailing it on to Boyds Bears. Marie Osmond Dolls on QVC

We are pleased to let all of you Marie Osmond Dolls fans know that Marie Osmond will be presenting her new June Collection of dolls during the following dates and times on QVC:

1. Monday, June 15 (4 p.m. EST)
2. Tuesday, June 16 (6 a.m. EST)

Since Beacon's Glow Collectibles is an authorized retailer of Marie Osmond Dolls, we have previously sworn to secrecy about this upcoming collection. Since we have had a sneak peek at images of these dolls, we know that doll collectors will be very pleased with the new line-up of dolls that Marie will be offering.

As is always the case here at Beacon's Glow, we will have all of these dolls in stock (with the exception of the QVC exclusives) and will match QVC's price.

During these tough economic times, our layaway plans are more popular than ever. We are willing to work with each individual to determine the terms and amount of time that works best for their layaway. (And we are proud to say that we have several customers who continue to have layaways with us year after year).
