Steiff Cosy Friends by Steiff Bears Now at Beacons Glow Collectibles

Just in time for the holidays - Beacon's Glow Collectibles has started carrying Steiff Cosy Friends by Steiff Bears. This wonderful collection of plush is of the same high quality the world has gotten to know with Steiff Bears and their hand-made mohair and alpaca creations.

This new line includes several baby-appropriate plush items as well as soft plush teddy bears. We are excited that we are expanding our line of Steiff products.

Boyds Bears Are Back on QVC

It was great finding out that Boyds Bears was back on QVC on the afternoon of November 28, 2008 (Black Friday). David Miller, Vice President of Design presented the various Boyds Bears for the show. Did you know that it had been over 12 years since Boyds Bears had been on QVC?

We here at Beacon's Glow Collectibles were sure to watch. David presented many different types of teddy bears on the show from a few members of the "From the Heart" Collection; recent 2008 Fall Introductions to include Angelique, Peace and Hope; a few bears from the 2008 Bundle Up Collection, just to name a few.

The highlight of the show was the introduction of two new Boyds Jim Shore bears named "Bless This Home", "America the Beautiful", and "All Aboard". All of these bears are quite detailed and just beautiful. We expect to be receiving these bears in early 2009, so please stay tuned.

We look forward to seeing Boyds Bears again on QVC.

Steiff Bears Flurrie, the 2008 Swarovski Bear Has Arrived

We are pleased to announce here at Beacon's Glow Collectibles that we have received in the very special Steiff Bears 2008 Swarovski Bear named Flurrie. This piece, incidentally, is an exclusive distribution by Steiff Retailers in 2008.

This is the fifth historic collaboration between Steiff and Swarovski. Steiff, renowned around the world for their German hand-made teddy bears, and Swarovski, renowned around the world for their crystal pieces, make a great team.

This year's bear features the snowflake-shaped Swarovski 2008 annual edition ornament. The bear itself is 10 inches tall and made of silvery-blue tipped mohair. It makes a wonderful gift item or a festive addition to your holiday decor.

Quantities are quite limited to the year 2008, so please order yours before these incredible bears are gone.

Jim Shore Birthday Angels Now in Stock

Beacons Glow Collectibles has received in the full set of Jim Shore's birthday angels. This set of 12 angels are sure to be popular. Each birthday angel is a perfect 6-1/4 inches tall and holds a basket of birthday-themed flowers and wears her appropriate birth month crystal necklace.

As with all of Jim Shore's figurines, each piece is made of stone resin to resemble hand-carved wood, and is hand-painted.

Marie Osmond Too Sweets Tots Now Complete

Beacons Glow Collectibles received in the rest of Marie Osmond's Too Sweets Tots dolls and that completes the set. (Well, with the exception of the retailer exclusive but we still have not heard anything from Marie Osmond Dolls on that quite yet. . . )

The new Marie Osmond Too Sweets Tots that came in just the other day are:
