2012 is a big year for the worldwide and very famous Steiff Club, as it is the 20th anniversary of the club itself.
In commemoration of this event, Steiff has created Louis (as shown to the left) to honor this milestone event. Also, known as "Club Edition 2012 Louis Teddy Bear", this incredible bear stands 14-1/2 inches tall and is made from high quality burgundy alpaca. Production is limited to the year 2012. He has a gold-plated 'Button in Ear' ear tag which is Steiff Bears speciality mark on all of their items.
To make Louise even more special, the soles of his teddy bear paws are embroidered with "Steiff Club" on the right sole and "1992 - 2012" on the left sole.
Truly a Steiff heirloom piece to be treasured for years and years. . .
