Jim Shore has created a second set of nutcrackers just in time for holiday giving this year. Jim had mentioned when he appeared on QVC the other day that the National Nutcracker Museum, located in Washington State, had specifically asked him to do a series of nutcrackers. And of course, he obliged.
This year's Christmast Nutcracker Collection consists of a Snowman with Broom, Santa (with a very decorative "fractor" design on the front, and the Classic Soldier Nutcracker. (By the way, the fractor design originated in the Williamsburg, VA Colonial era and is still very popular even to this day).
Either singly or as a group, this nutcracker collection would look perfect on a shelf or a mantle.
