Hopefully, all of you are finding some relief from this extremely hot summer - thank goodness for air conditioning. Here in Central Texas the summer heat has been just stiffling - pretty much every day it hits at least 100 degrees, and with the humidity in the air, the heat index makes it feel like it is much more than 100.
We thought we would try something new with our blog. In addition to keeping you posted on new inventory that is arriving, as well as personal comments as to what items are real eye-catchers, we are going occasionally close each blog entry with an inspirational quote for the day.
The owner has always been very fond of the poet and author, Ralph Waldo Emerson, so don't be surprised if you oftentimes will see quotes from him posted from time to time.
By the way, Madame Alexander's "Spirit of New Orleans" arrived recently, and she is much nicer than in her photo. Her dramatic purple satin dress is very nice, and the gold accents on her dress really highlight the magnificant purple material.
